Joining forces with various artists, designers, architects, and community advocates, the Hong Kong Arts Centre is hosting a series of online and on-site events on the weekends of December and the coming February and May. This variety of activities for all ages will turn different spaces in North Point into a community saloon, unveiling the scene and culture at every corner of the neighbourhood via social interactions and artistic creativity. We cordially invite you to join us in these excursions to share your experience of North Point, get together with the kaifong, and surprise yourself with the uncharted treasures in the community!

// What’s cultural citizenship? Answers from Art, Architecture and Life //
What are we talking about when we talk about cultural citizenship? It means a shared culture, shared duties and obligations, as well as a common sense of responsibility and belonging.
Don’t think that cultural citizens are far away from us. Everyone who is willing to take a little step forward and make a difference in the community is a cultural citizen.
In this special evening at the North Point Pier, “Via North Point” invites three “imagineers” who have been the programme collaborators in the past two years – environmental architect Tony Ip, society-conscious artist/architect Rina Ko, and Sarah Mui, who is good at using creative means to intervene in the community, to share with you how they use different expertise to connect different groups of people, and the fun stories and memorable journeys along the way.
The Harbour Dialogue Bar series will be held in May and July, inviting “imagineers” in “Via North Point” to talk about our community and city.
